TERMS & CONDITIONS

A) Operations

  • Visas are required for travel to India and must be obtained prior to arrival into India. Please check if an E-visa is applicable for the country you hold a passport of. Kindly check rules for obtaining an E-visa to India. This is the sole responsibility of the client and/or the overseas Tour Operator.
  • For FIT bookings, please forward names and ages of clients at the earliest to book air and train tickets.
  • For group bookings, final name and rooming lists are to be forwarded to us at least 45 days prior to operation of the tour. This is required by all hotels and domestic airlines in India for reconfirmation of rooms/air seats. All other operation requirements for the business will be advised at the time of the confirmation of the group.
  • In the event hotels required are sold out, the best alternative will be provided.
  • All arrangements made by Indian Vistas are in the capacity of an agent only and we will not be liable for claims or expenses arising from circumstances beyond our control such as accidents and injuries, delayed or cancelled flights. All passengers should be covered by insurance prior to departure from the country of origin.

B) Validity

  • The domestic airfares are based on current domestic airlines tariff and are subject to change with¬out prior notification which will have to be borne by the agent or clients in full.
  • All current taxes have been included while quoting. Any increase in the existing tax structure, fuel hike, additional Government levies, increase in entrance fees etc will have to be borne by the agent or client in full.

C) Payment Terms

  • 25% advance payment of tour cost and airfare upon confirmation of tour.
  • Balance payment (full and final) to be received by Indian Vistas at least 45 days prior to the date of arrival of clients.

Note:

  • Any deposits required by the hotels which are over and above the conditions mentioned above will be required to be sent by the agent as and when required. Details will be provided once bookings are made.
  • Payments are made to hotels 45 days prior to date of booking, except during peak period of 20 Dec-05 Jan when payment deadline is 90 pays prior.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

FIT (Individual, family bookings)

  • If tour is cancelled after initial advance of 25% is made, then no refund will be given.
  • If tour is cancelled after full payment has been made, less than 45 days but more than 30 days to date of arrival the cancellation fee will be 50%, not inclusive of cancellation charges levied by hotels and other service providers.
  • Less than 30 days but more than 07 days to date of arrival the cancellation fee will be 100%, not inclusive of cancellation charges levied by hotels and other service providers.

GIT (Group bookings)

If tour is cancelled, the following cancellation deadlines will be followed:

  • Cancellation more than 45 days to start of tour: 10%
  • Cancellation between 45-07 days 25%
  • Cancellation between 07-02 days 80%
  • Cancellation between 02 days prior to check-in date 100%

Note: If the tour is cancelled, refund will be guided by the policy of respective hotels and airlines.

Privacy Policy

We try to maintain the privacy of the personal information provided by you. However, it would be necessary for us to share this information with cruise companies, airlines, hotels and other service providers who would be providing you service during the tour. We would also be constrained to disclose such information if we receive an order of the court, a requisition from any government or statutory authority, subpoena, or where under any laws, rules or regulations, such disclosure becomes necessary.

Law and Jurisdiction

In the event of a dispute arising out of or relating to this contract, including any question regarding its existence, validity or termination, the parties shall first seek settlement of that dispute by mediation in accordance with the applicable rules. The Mediator shall be appointed by the Company. If the dispute is not settled by mediation within thirty (30) days of the appointment of the mediator, or such further period as the parties shall agree in writing, then the dispute shall be settled in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 by a sole Arbitrator to be appointed by the Company. The arbitration proceedings will be in Haryana. The Arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding on both parties. In case of any dispute concerning the award the courts in Haryana alone shall have exclusive jurisdiction. This contract will be governed by Indian laws. You agree that in the event of a dispute or difference between the parties the exclusive jurisdiction shall vest in the competent court / forum / tribunal in Haryana only. As to the interpretation of the aforesaid terms and conditions, the decision of Indian Vistas shall be final and binding upon you. The Company reserves its right to change the Terms & Conditions without assigning any reasons, any time without any prior notice.
